Another 747 skin. It is the Tropical Livery on two of Singapore Airlines' Boeing 747-400. The livery was introduced to promote Singapore Airlines new first class and business class products. Only two 747s were painted in this livery, 9V-SPK and 9V-SPL. However, 9V-SPK was lost in October 2000. After the incident, 9V-SPL, the only other aircraft to wear this livery, was immediately removed from service and repainted with the standard Singapore Airlines livery. Until 2015, no special livery other than the Star Alliance and the standard livery, has been introduced on any Singapore Airlines aircraft.
