Colt M1911

Time to put your hands on one of the most legendary guns of all time! This mod is intended to bring more realism to the game's main handgun (which is poorly based on the M1911), and it also adds a certain level of difficulty if you agree to use the suggested weapon.dat edit in the Readme.txt (increased damage, among other things, refer to the .txt included). Main features are:
. Pistol model by Dmitrii Gorskii, from his Battlefield 1942 weapon pack
. HUD icon by Nadalao
. Muzzle flash from original game pistol, well centered and sticked to the muzzle
. Replacement for cutscene model also included
. Custom animation which changes just the crouch-shooting animation to shoot straight instead of sideways
Note by August 2, 2021: in the Readme.txt I suggest downloading sounds present in my mod "Smith & Wesson M1917", if you already have that mod, I'll use this opportunity to tell you it has new animation content (and improved cutscene model too), so you might as well want to go download it again.
