With the befitting name of "Freedom Fighter", it was agile in a dogfight and capable of supersonic speeds. The PAF's 6th TFS "Cobras" and famed Blue Diamonds aerial display team flew the F-5A for over thirty years, symbolizing a highlight in Filipino aviation.
