In the past two weeks, lot's of script mods have been created by the GTA modding community. Today, we're proud to announce that the OpenIV team has finally made it to modify encrypted *.rpf files. This is a majoy step forward to a different kind of modifications like modifying handling data, pedestrian's behavior and lots of more things. Besides RPF editing, the OpenIV developer also added support for GTA V PC files in Drawable, Collision and Navmesh files, so now you can view some models. For those of you who want to start modding, take care that you've downloaded the recent version of OpenIV: OpenIV 2.6.

You need to install an ASI loader and OpenIV plugin, otherwise your game will not work with modified archives. With installed ASI loader and plugin, you will not be able to go into GTA Online. This will keep you from accidently banning and GTA Online will be protected from modifications.
