As you might have noticed, there was a major update of the GTAinside content management system (CMS) yesterday. This time, I’m not talking about new mods which were added to our database: I’m talking about new features on GTAinside including a personal profile which every registered user has from now on. The following list sums up some of the new features on GTAinside:

• Each registered user gets a personal profile page. It can be used in order to promote modifications, personal homepages and YouTube/Facebook channels. For that purpose, you also get an exclusive URL: http://www.gtainside.com/user/YourUsername (e.g. http://www.gtainside.com/user/Alex). This gives you the opportunity to promote your work outside from GTAinside.
• Set up your privacy settings: If you don’t want to show your uploaded mods, your online status or email address, you are able to hide them.
• Upload a custom-made avatar and background in order to give your personal profile page an individual look.
• From now on, you will be able to contact other users by private messages. After signing in, you will find a link to your personal inbox in the top menu.
• Some weeks ago, we’ve established our “100% FAIR USE OF MODDING” policy which includes the possibility to report stolen modifications or missing credits. We’ve implemented this reporting tool in order to fight mod thefting. Click here to find more information about our anti-stealing policy.
• We substantially revised our video database: Add your favourite YouTube GTA videos to our brand-new video database. You will be able to discuss and rate each video.

This was just a small list of the new features on GTAinside.com. And there’s much more to come within the next few weeks. We will keep on working in order to provide you the best experience on GTAinside! Be excited.
