This v2.0 release is to fix the mess I made of v1.7.2. I have spent around 12 hours rewriting code, adjusting data files and doing test, test, test around the whole map to try and make sure this is as good as I can make it. There is no perfect solution just because of the nature of the particles used, that may change in the future as I am experimenting with custom ypt files and have had some success in another mod.
Colour parameters, alpha values, position and scaling have all been through changes and testing. I have also reintroduced something from an earlier mod and that is Dusty Zones. In these zones, certain surfaces such as tarmac, concrete and rock will behave as if they have a fine layer of dust on them. This is most visible around the parking loop in Sandy Shores.
I apologise again for the previous version and hope this version goes some way to rectify that.
The only files that have changed are the changelog.txt and the AirVehicleEffectsPool.dll, which should show 2.0.0 in windows explorer properties. So if you have this mod already installed, just copy the AirVehicleEffectsPool.dll file over the existing one in the scripts\AVE folder.
Description
Air Vehicle Effects is a config-driven script mod that generates ground and water effects for a variety of air vehicles.
Using the Config Builder mod, air vehicles are fitted with generators and those generators cause the effects to be created. The mod supports fixed rotor/propellers as well as VTOL functionality. Multiple generator types can be used on a single vehicle.
The effects can also be applied to NPC driven vehicles.
Installation
Copy the AVE folder from the .7z file into your scripts folder. The mod files have to be kept inside that AVE folder for the mod to work.
Requirements
A working copy of GTAV (the mod has been tested on versions 1868, 2169 and 3028)
ScriptHookV
ScriptHookVDotNet v3
LemonUI for SHVDN v3
